Shop Local – Don’t miss your chance to meet amazing artists and makers and shop their products at the Sudbury Market every Saturday at Elm Place, from 9 AM – 2 PM, visit the Hanmer Mall where you’ll find The Valley Market offering a large selection of locally prepared meals to go, baked goods, handmade products and gifts then over to the Gallery and Brew Shop for holiday décor, and unique specialty gift items, or take part in the Downtown Sudbury Holiday Market, Saturday, November 25th.

The Festival of Lights – Marvel at the stunning display of Christmas lights at the Festival of Lights, on the grounds of Science North, from the end of November to January.

Santa Claus is coming to town!  That’s right, the Greater Sudbury Santa Claus Parade is back to spread Christmas magic! Come out and watch the parade of lights and sounds. Come welcome very special guests Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and their reindeer on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 in Downtown Sudbury.

Be sure to stop at the New Sudbury Centre to take in some holiday programming including a visit with Santa!

Take in a Holiday Sleigh Ride – Visit Wagonwheel Ranch and enjoy a sleigh ride tour through scenic trails surrounded by beautiful Boreal forest. Warm up by a crackling bonfire, roast some of your favourite treats, then visit some barnyard friends.

Get Into the Holiday Spirit –  Yes Theatre and Sudbury Theatre Centre present Matilda from November 24th to December 17th at the Sudbury Theatre Centre, take in the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra’s: Poems For Snow on November 25th and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer – Live on stage presented by Sudbury Performance Group on December 7th to the 16th. Take in some installations and events for Café Heritage Festival Noël celebrating the culture and history behind Christmas through music, children’s activities, life-sized Nativity, Santa’s Village and more.
